Well it's finally happening. A trip Mike Jones and I have been planning for 2 years, much of this a follow up from our hugely successful Yukon trip/story 3 year ago. Our team has been assembled, Mike, Dre, Curtis (also on the Yukon trip) and Jordan Manly. We have been in touch with Tourism Newfoundland we have been in touch with the magazines and we have our on the ground guide Shannon and Cycle Solutions lined up in Cornerbrook NF.
Now it's just getting there, getting sorted and finding out what mountain biking is really like on the other side of the country.
We are 2 days in and loving it, but more to come on that. We left Vancouver successfully, picked up Curtis on the other side and met Shannon - Newfoundland rocks, but here are a few shots of getting going. I'm sure you are all familiar with travel and traveling with a bike, ugh what an ordeal.
Glad to be here and what a beautiful place, as mentioned more on that later - ok maybe a teaser or two...,
