Sometimes you see an e-mail and someone is reaching out; in this case word came down to me that Patrick Fallon a photog from NZ was coming to Canada and wanted to a) hook up for some shots and b) go for a ride. I replied knowing that a friendly voice in a foreign country is always a glowing light. We finally found time after Crankworkx to get together.
Along the way I bumped into Connor Mcloud, he mentioned a few new trails on Cypress he had been hitting, some all-mountain pedally stuff. I know that Cypress is Connor's mountain so nobody better to get out with and ride.
Time was tight, but we managed to take our NZ buddy for a ride, hit some great trail and of course squash a few beers after.
Hoping that we contribute to Patricks story and hoping he had a good time riding N. Vancouver.
Any mountaing biker visiting my backyard is good to go, and Cypress trails are sic - get out and ride.
